Someone Asked Me About Kirk Cameron’s View On Hell

Someone asked me about Kirk Cameron’s view on Hell.

Here is my answer:

Kirk is correct about hell.

Hell is never mentioned in the original Greek and Hebrew manuscripts.

The translations using the word hell have blatantly miss translated the words…

…honestly, it’s not even a translation but a word replacement.

The literal translations get it right, such as the Young’s Literal Translation.

The words being translated as Hell are:

Sheol, Hades, and Gehenna.

Sheol and Hades refer to death and the grave.

Gehenna was metaphorically used by Jesus to describe the judgment on Israel in the first century and the destruction of some of the souls of those that were in Sheol and Hades (Matthew 10; Revelation 20).

There is no mention of hell in the original Hebrew and Greek manuscripts.

I also write about the lake of fire and the soul in my book: Revelation Volume 2: War On The Saints (Revelation 13-20). CLICK HERE
